Regional Lymphoma Day, Milton Keynes

Join us in Milton Keynes on Friday 21 June to hear from medical experts about new and upcoming treatments for lymphoma, and how to manage symptoms and keep a healthy lifestyle. You will also have the opportunity to hear from people sharing their personal experiences of lymphoma, and share your experiences with others.

During this informative and interactive day you will have the opportunity to hear from medical experts, as well as meeting and connecting with others affected by lymphoma.

Tickets cost £20 per person and include lunch and refreshments.

9.30am Registration

Sign into collect your name badge and welcome pack. Tea and coffee will be available.

10.00am Welcome 

Welcome and overview of the day.

10.15am New and future treatments with Q & A session

Graham Collins, Consultant Haematologist from Oxford University Hospital, will give an overview of new and future treatments for lymphoma.

11.00am Morning refreshments 

An opportunity to meet, share and connect with others. Tea and coffee will be available.

11.30am My personal experience of living with lymphoma with Q & A session

Penny, diagnosed with Stage 4 follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2013 and Sandra, diagnosed with Waldenstroms macroglobulinaemia in 2010 will share their personal experiences.

12.15pm Lunch break

An opportunity to meet, share and connect with others in attendance. A buffet style lunch will be provided.

1.15pm Lymphoma Action update

An overview of our support services for you and your family, friends or carers.

1.30pm Symptom management and healthy lifestyle tips with Q & A session

Chrissie Kirby, a Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital, will talk about symptom management such as fatigue and the importance of a healthy diet and exercise with lymphoma. 

2.15pm Afternoon refreshments 

An opportunity to connect and share experiences with others  - tea and coffee will be available.

3.00pm Close of day
