CANCELLED: National Conference - 13 May

Update 5 May: After careful consideration, due to the current situation with planned national rail strikes on 12 and 13 May, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel our National Conference.  We will email everyone who has already booked a place with more information. We aim to work with our speakers over the coming weeks to film the presentations and make these available on our website.

We’re delighted that our National Conference will be back in 2023 as a face to face event for the first time since 2019! We're excited to reconnect the lymphoma community and reduce isolation by bringing everyone together again.

Here are 5 reasons why you should join us:

1. You'll have lots of opportunities to meet and share experiences with others with lymphoma.

2. Medical professionals will talk about lymphoma diagnosis, treatment and management, and you can ask them your questions.

3. You can also ask us any questions, and find out the many ways we can support you.

4. We’ll focus on emotional wellbeing for everyone – including family, friends and carers, because we all need to look after ourselves.

5. We'll provide practical tips on physical wellbeing, to help you live well on active monitoring, through treatment, and after.

This is the conference programme, and a short description of what you can expect from each session.

What can I expect from the day?

The general 'feel' of the event is warm and welcoming, and we aim to be approachable, understandable, informative and uplifting. We welcome people with any type of lymphoma at any stage of their journey. The audience will typically include individuals:

  • newly diagnosed
  • on active monitoring (watch and wait)
  • currently in treatment
  • recently finished treatment
  • many years beyond treatment
  • their family friends and carers

You may be entirely new to Lymphoma Action, or you may have attended the conference many times to meet others and keep up to date with the latest information.

If there ever is a moment where you feel like you need to step away, or would like to talk to a member of our helpline team, they will be available throughout the day, so you can feel reassured that we are here to support you.

If you have any questions, please check our event booking terms and conditions. If your question isn't answered, please email conferences@lymphoma-action.org.uk to speak to Sophie.
